Guidelines
Eligibility Pupils from both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are welcome to take part. There is no age barrier, and entries may come from any year group within the same primary school.
Project Format Children may present their project using any combination of the following:
· Models
· Photographs
· Written work
· Computer‑based or digital technology
They are free to choose whichever format or all of them that best helps demonstrate their ideas.
Choral / Vocal Element The term choral refers to a vocal component. As part of their presentation, children should be prepared to explain the story or inspiration behind their project in their own words. This spoken element is an important part of the overall assessment.
Adjudication After the presentation, the adjudicator may choose to ask the children a few questions about their work. This is simply to help them understand the project more fully and to give pupils the chance to talk about their creative process.
