| Father Mc Daid Cup and Bursary - £500 | Tuesday 18th January 2011 |
| The winner of this years Father Mc Daid Cup will receive a bursary of £500 toward tuition or to further their career. The competition is open to 1st and 2nd prizewinners in this year's feis who have competed in the over 16yrs competitions |

| Danny Casey Cup & Bursary - £500 | Tuesday 18th January 2011 |
| The winner of this years Danny Casey Cup will be awarded a bursary of £500 towards tuition or to further their career. Competitors over 16 will sing a song from any opera or musical. |

| Feis returns to the Guiildhall for 2011 | Tuesday 18th January 2011 |
| The Feis will return to its original home in the Guildhall in 2011. Following negotiations with Derry City Council terms have been agreed for this year in order to accommodate dates for the Jazz festival which left the Millenium Forum unavailable. |

| Maureen Downey Cup and Drama Scholarship - £500 | Tuesday 18th January 2011 |
| A Scholarship worth £500 will be awarded at this years feis for the Centre Stage Summer Drama School in Antrim. Details of same can be found in page 12 and 37 of the syllabus |

| Senior Dancer Bursary - £500 | Tuesday 18th January 2011 |
| A new bursary has been added to the syllabus this year for senior dancers competiting in senior competitions over the age of 16. Details of this can be found on page 37 of the syllabus |

| Modern Dance section added to the 2010 syllabus | Tuesday 15th December 2009 |
| A new section has been added to the 2010 syllabus for modern dance competitions. Competitors will be asked to perform a five minute programme in either slow dance, hip hop or freestyle see competitions 801 - 806 |

We have just launched our new website in time for the 2006 Derry Feis. The website will give you all the information on the Feis for this year and the coming years and we have some exciting plans for the future.
